"What should I wear & bring to class?"

The following suggestions are meant to provide you with the best class experience. Please feel free to dress for comfort & personal expression with the following guidelines in mind.

ALL CLASSES: Bring socks, water, and a yoga mat. Please leave rings & jewelry at home. (Yoga mats available to use at Moxy).

POLE: Skin contact is necessary for grip. It is recommended that you wear tight, high shorts with longer pants/leggings on top.

*Pants made for Pole exist & provide additional grip!

LYRA & HAMMOCK: Tighter fitting leggings and t-shirts or long-sleeved shirts are recommended.

MoXXXy, DANCE, & FLEXIBILITY CLASSES: Pants, socks, legwarmers or knee pads are recommended.

"Do I need to have any fitness or movement experience before I get started?"

No! In fact attending classes is the best way to develop your strength & flexibility in tangible ways!

Our classes are designed for beginners & experienced movers, so we have something to assist you wherever you're at.

"If I have past injuries or other physical limitations, will classes still be accessible?"

Yes! We are creative with our fitness and aim to view obstacles or limitations as points of creativity. Our knowledgeable instructors are happy to assist by providing adjustments or modifications to support the accessibility and success of all participants.

"What is OPEN STAGE NIGHT?"

Every month Moxy has an in-studio OPEN STAGE NIGHT. These intimate and low-key showcases are an opportunity for beginners and experienced movers to share their art! Whether it be a meticulously planned routine that you'd like to share or practice in front of an audience OR a freestyle performance straight from the heart - Open Stage Night is the perfect opportunity.

All proceeds go to the Moxy Sponsorship Program, and we love for our community to come by and check out what we're up to!
